What You Can Expect

More information

EAA's AirVenture site plan seeks first and foremost to preserve the spirit of aviation shared among the community of EAA members. And, because it looks ahead to the evolving wants and needs of convention participants, the enhanced site will play a key role in keeping the future of aviation alive.

Accordingly, the plan addresses six core objectives:

Culture
The site's redesign will continue to reflect the core values and attributes of EAA members, their passions, and the spirit of aviation.

Safety
Safety will be improved through established zones and thoroughfares that will separate pedestrian and vehicle traffic.

Quality
Improved food-service offerings, camping facilities, restrooms, shade, and relaxation areas will be in keeping with modern-day expectations.

Convenience
It will be easier to arrive and enter. Way-finding signs will be more conspicuous and more helpful. Maps will be easier to understand. Pathway design will be more intuitive and the transportation system will be more convenient and efficient.

Fun and Interesting
Participants will enjoy a wider array of evening-activity venues, more opportunities for social interaction, and expanded educational exhibits.

Growth
The project will address the demand for additional exhibit space and for upgraded amenities. These measures will enhance the appeal of business-related offerings and will improve the commercial entities' ability to showcase innovation and enrich the event's content.
