Camp Scholler Information
and Guidelines
Camp
Scholler opens June 25, 2010.
- 2010
rates are
$22
per night. At least one member of your party must be
an EAA Member to camp in Camp Scholler.
- Camp Scholler is for EAA Members only
for RVs and tents. There is a 3-day minimum stay. No reservations
are accepted, however you can now pre-pay for
camping; a first come first serve basis applies. There
are always plenty of sites available at EAA's Camp
Scholler.
- Campers must pay from the arrival day of
camping through the duration of the convention. You will receive a
refund for the days not camped if you leave before the end of the
convention. Checkout time is 12:00 NOON. Any units departing after
this time will be charged an additional day of camping. To receive
your refund, you must check out at one of our refund stations, and
present your Camper Credentials. (The refund station is not open 24
hours. Check with the registration office for hours of operation.)
- Only one tent or camper and one vehicle per 20’
x 30’ site are allowed. Individual campsites are
approximately 20' x 30' in size and are available for both vehicle and tent
camping. Larger RVs will be
accommodated at the standard daily camping rates. Camping units must be a minimum of 10’ apart. Extra
vehicle and visitor parking is available in our lot just south of
the "West Gate". Vehicle passes for the extra parking area
can be purchased at the Camper Registration Area.
- There are no electric or water hook-ups on the
campgrounds. Generators may be used for electricity, but no
engine-driven generators will be operated between the hours of 10:30
p.m. and 7:30 a.m.
- Shower facilities, 2 stores with groceries and
camping supplies, campground buses that circulate throughout Camp
Scholler, and a dump station (with water) on site are available.
- In an effort to reduce the risk of emerald ash
borer introduction and spread in Wisconsin, as well as other pests,
the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources asks that all
campground firewood be left at home and purchased near your campsite
location. Firewood should be obtained within 50 miles of where you
plan to use it. Fines for transporting firewood across state lines
are heavily enforced.
Firewood will be available for purchase at EAA
AirVenture campground stores and local convenience stores in
Oshkosh.
More information on Wisconsin DNR firewood
rules is available at: www.dnr.wi.gov/invasives/firewood.
- RV/Handicap Camper Area is located along the
tree line of the Generator Area for those requiring 24-hour
operation of auxiliary generators. Handicap restrooms are available
at three campground shower facilities. There is a handicapped bus
that circulates throughout the campground.
- There is an EAA Youth Activities Pavilion, DJ Tent and a play area for the kids. No Roller-Skating, Skateboarding or Rollerblading is allowed. A
drivers license is required to drive any type of vehicle in Camp
Scholler.
- Pet Guidelines
(Pets allowed
in Camp Scholler ONLY)
EAA has a
long-standing policy that pets are not permitted on the convention site or
in the campgrounds. Therefore, EAA has designated a “Campers with Pets”
area in Camp Scholler for those members who arrive and are not aware of
the policy.

- No more than two pets per campsite
- Leads may not be longer than ten feet
