In less than 3 months, Oshkosh will become the aviation center of the world. The list of features and attractions for 2009 make it one of those years that you simply can't afford to miss. Get your tickets now. Virgin Galactic's WhiteKnightTwo makes its world public debut as part of Monday's opening-day air show when it arrives overhead. The future civilian space launch vehicle will also fly Tuesday and Thursday with up-close viewing opportunities on the ground each day until its departure flight during the Saturday air show. After a recent visit to Scaled Composites, Tom Poberezny commented, "WhiteKnightTwo is simply spectacular and having it at Oshkosh will be a memorable event." AeroShell Square has played host to amazing aircraft in the past and this year is no exception. You won't be able to miss the world's biggest passenger jet - the Airbus A380 - dominating the grounds from the time it arrives on Tuesday until departure on Friday with flight demonstrations on both days. This will be the first time that a North American audience will have the opportunity for an up close and personal look at the A380. |
