The B-25 Panchito returns to Oshkosh next year with the DAV Flight Team, sponsored by AirSupport LLC.
October 31, 2013 - AirSupport LLC is pleased to announce the continuation of its 12-year relationship with the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) with a new agreement in support of the DAV Aviation Outreach Program. This continued relationship includes the eighth year for the DAV Flight Team to appear at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2014.
Traveling with a B-25 Mitchell bomber and interactive mobile display, the DAV Flight Team is a staple at AirVenture Oshkosh to increase public awareness of America's wounded, injured, and ill veterans.
"We are thrilled to have DAV Flight Team and their B-25 join us once again in Warbird Alley," said Harold Cannon, president of EAA Warbirds of America. "Their dedication to saluting veterans and honoring our history is what the EAA Warbirds of America is all about."
Air show spectators can see the DAV Flight Team at Oshkosh as the team highlights the valuable services DAV provides to veterans of all generations and their families. The B-25 Panchito, representing the aircraft famed for the Doolittle Raid over Tokyo, will accompany the DAV Flight Team. The B-25 always draws large crowds and serves as a reminder of sacrifices that veterans make for freedom.
"Over the last eight AirVenture shows, the DAV Flight Team has reached millions of veterans and their families," remarked Steven Wilson, DAV associate national director of communications. "Through this unique outreach vehicle, we have made our nation's heroes and their loved ones aware of the free services DAV offers. It has helped us empower veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity."
AirSupport President Michael McCabe added, "We have been honored to be a part of DAV's mission since 2003, and we are looking forward to the continuation of this program and the service it represents to veterans."

DAV is dedicated to one single purpose: fulfilling our promises to the men and women who serve. DAV does this by ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them; fighting for the interests of America's injured heroes on Capitol Hill; and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of veterans transitioning back to civilian life. DAV, a nonprofit organization with 1.2 million members, was founded in 1920 and chartered by the U.S. Congress in 1932. Learn more about DAV at www.DAV.org.
