February 13, 2013 - Each year during AirVenture, EAA's Memorial Wall ceremony honors those departed loved ones whose passion for aviation profoundly affected our lives.
Located on the edge of Pioneer Airport adjacent to Fergus Chapel, the wall's bronze plaques provide a permanent shrine for inductees, installed at a moving dedication service held on the final day of the convention.
This year's service is set for Sunday, August 4, and will feature the reading of the honorees' names, the playing of "Taps" by a sole trumpeter, and a breathtaking missing man formation flight overhead.
With a contribution of $350 or more, you can personalize the two-line inscription, gain admission to the AirVenture ceremony, and receive a keepsake DVD of the event, as well as an album with the honorees' photos and bios.
To make your special tribute a part of the 2013 dedication ceremony, please place your order by April 8, 2013. For more information, visit the Memorial Wall website or contact Robin Kasel at firstname.lastname@example.org or 800-236-1025.
