Nightly MusicJams in Honda Forums Pavilion No. 9 returns for 2012
Be sure to pack your guitar for AirVenture this year as the Flying Musicians Association returns with the FMA AirVenture MusicJams. Everyone with a passion for music is invited to this nightly jam session, which runs 7-10 p.m. Monday, July 23, through Friday, July 27, at Honda Forums Pavilion No. 9.
After kicking off each night with a featured performer, FMA opens up to the crowd for open-mic performances. By the end of the night, it will turn into an all-out jam session.
So whether you want to pull up a chair and do some banjo picking or sit back and listen, this is an event for everyone and a perfect way to wind down after a long day in the sun. All instruments are welcome, with a keyboard and bass guitar available for those who want to play them.
The Flying Musicians Association seeks to combine two passions, flying and music, encouraging and educating youth and adults in the science and art of aviation and music. Their goals are to gather people with the same passions to further enjoy, promote, and grow in both aviation and music. With a rapidly growing base of 260-plus members, FMA offers a unique way to connect with people around the world, with members spanning North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Visit the FMA website for more information.
