EAA and the Oshkosh YMCA host the 4th annual EAA Runway 5K on Saturday, July 31, at 7 a.m. The run/walk will benefit the Oshkosh YMCA and EAA joint youth programs and runs 3.1 miles through the convention grounds.

Participants can pre-register now through Friday, July 29, for $25 at the Oshkosh YMCA, at www.oshkoshymca.org, or the EAA Welcome Center. Registration on the day of the event is $35, but those wearing a wristband receive a $5 discount.

The first 1,000 participants will receive a special event T-shirt. Everyone gets snacks, water, and a timing-chip to track their progress in addition to Saturday admission to AirVenture, which includes the Asleep at the Wheel concert, night air show, and fireworks display.

The course is different this year. Participants will run/walk on more pavement and will get to see more of the AirVenture grounds. Packet pick-up opens at 5:30 a.m. on race day at the start/finish area. You can also pick up packets on July 30 at the Oshkosh Community YMCA at 3303 W. 20th Avenue from 3-6 p.m.
