Members voice their feelings—EAA responds.
So, responding to member and visitor requests regarding AirVenture food
selections, additional options are coming to the grounds.
Zaug’s Food Service this year will
offer vegetarian selections, yogurt and a variety of fresh fruit at
several locations. And almost every major food venue will offer
specially priced EAA Member Meals.
For some added variety, Ace’s Cafeteria
will feature three different entrees each lunch, ranging from $7.50 to
$9.25, and three more in the evening, ranging from $8.75 to $10.95.
Additionally, a limited variety of
grocery items will be offered near the North 40 registration area in
conjunction with the Aspen Avionics tent.
The Warbirds area has also undergone
improvements with the addition of Fightertown Café and Flyboy
Concession (formerly Warbird Concession).
Of course, EAA AirVenture staples—brats
and Polish sausage, for example—will still be available.
And to answer the question on many a lip—“What
about the doughnuts?”—fear not. Once again Ace’s Cafeteria,
Classic Concession and the Twin Oaks Coffee House plan to offer their
famous EAA doughnuts.
