Ford
to reveal new Explorer model today before Chicago
Before Chicago takes the stage after today’s
air show, Ford Motor Company plans to unveil its new 2011 Explorer and
you won’t want to miss it. “This will be a true visual spectacle
with some help from the aerospace industry delivering the new Explorer
to the event,” the company stated in a release.
The completely reinvented SUV includes
safety features–such as the industry’s only inflatable seatbelts–plus
other technology that customers need, as well as class-leading fuel
economy, at more than 30 percent better than the current model. The
unveiling is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. outside the Ford Hangar at
AeroShell Square.
