Hangar B at AirVenture to cast your vote for one of the 20 charities
nominated by the Lightspeed Aviation Foundation, which is partnering
with all members of the pilot world to actively support aviation growth,
education, and works of compassion.
The nominated charities include Angel
Flight Central, Angel Flight East, Angel Flight Mid-Atlantic, Angel
Flight Southeast/MercyFlight Southeast, Angel Flight West, AOPA
Foundation, Brigade Air, Build A Plane, EAA Young Eagles, Experience
Aviation, Helicopter Foundation International, Heritage Flight
Foundation, JAARS, Lindbergh Foundation, Mission Aviation Fellowship,
National Intercollegiate Flying Association, Ninety-Nines, Veterans
Airlift, and Wings of Hope.
The top five charities chosen by the
pilot community will each receive a check for $10,000 in November 2010.
All pilots are invited to vote while here in Oshkosh, or by casting a
vote at LightspeedAviationFoundation.org.
Additionally, Lightspeed Aviation
customers can participate by designating a portion of any recent
purchase, ranging from $25 to $50, to one of the nominated charities.
The gift designation can be made at the time new headsets are registered
online at LightspeedAviation.com.
