WxWorx will continue its commitment as the "Official Weather Provider of the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh" through 2012.
WxWorx, the leading force in mobile weather analysis, returns to EAA AirVenture this year to provide and sponsor equipment used for weather evaluation at this world famous aviation event. During AirVenture 2010, WxWorx will have a display set up in the XM WX Satellite Weather booth on the grounds.
"I find these to be invaluable tools while trying to manage the aerial activities," said Joe Schumacher, AirVenture's director of aircraft operations. "Having them placed in different locations on the grounds makes it easy for all those responsible for the different aircraft areas on the field to access the latest information so accurate decisions can be made."
Powered by Baron Services, WxWorx aims to maintain public safety with innovative technologies and instruments for aviation weather, marine weather and storm chasing. This technology is included as a standard option in nearly all airframes produced in the United States.
