EAA Young Eagles Co-Chairmen Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger and Jeff Skiles have busy weeks planned at AirVenture Oshkosh, including speaking presentations and Young Eagles flights. Skiles, First Officer for the "Miracle on the Hudson" US Airways flight 1549 on January 15, 2009, plans to fly Young Eagles on Monday in his Waco biplane. He'll also host a program about restoring and flying the DC-7 on Tuesday night at Theater in the Woods and will appear with Larry Rooney, accident investigator for the US Airline Pilots Association and one of the very first accident investigators on the scene after flight 1549's ditching at 1 p.m. Friday at Forum Pavilion 7 for "The Anatomy of an Accident: US Airways 1549." The forum will tell the untold story of the aircraft recovery and the ensuing NTSB accident investigation.

On Thursday, Sully and Skiles appear together at Forum Pavilion 7 to talk about their experiences since flight 1549. Sully will also be on EAA Radio Live at the Welcome Center on Friday, 11:30 a.m. and sign copies of his book, "Highest Duty: My Search for What Really Matters," afterwards. Sully is scheduled to appear at Author's Corner on Thursday from 11-noon, and will also fly Young Eagles on Friday.
