Kansas State University will hold daily drawings for $2,000 scholarships each day during AirVenture this year. The drawings are open to high school juniors and seniors and transfer students earning a bachelor's degree on the Salina campus in the next two years. The award can be used towards any program on the Kansas State Salina campus, as long as the student's application is accepted.

Natalie Blair, Coordinator of Public & Alumni Relations at K-State Salina said "We're hoping that this will be a good way for students to afford flight training. This $2,000 should be a great head start." The University in Salina awards certificates and degrees in a number of aviation areas including air traffic control, A&P, airport management, and aircraft maintenance.

FUTURE AIRVENTURE DATES: 2014: July 28-Aug. 3; 2015: July 20-26; 2016: July 25-31; 2017: July 24-30
