 'Creative Transportation' Show Returns to Camp Scholler

For the second year in a row, campers will have the opportunity to showcase the unique vehicles they bring to AirVenture to get around Camp Scholler. The event was started last year after organizer Eric Whyte noticed all of the interesting designs zooming around the campsite. "We wanted a way to bring them all to one spot," Whyte said. These homebuilt bikes, carts, and even motorized recliners not only help visitors move around, but they often also serve as a way to hone the skills needed to build an aircraft, allowing builders to practice before moving on to more to critical build jobs."
This year's event will be held on Wednesday, July 28, at 7:30 pm in parking lot F (between the Theater in the Woods and Exhibit Hangers B and D). Anyone is welcome to bring their vehicle; just find the area yours belongs in and park it there for everyone to see!
