In response to requests from EAA members and visitors regarding AirVenture food selections, some changes are coming to the offerings available on the convention grounds this year. Zaug's Food Service will offer many new items, including vegetarian options, yogurt, and a variety of fresh fruit at several locations. And almost every major food venue will offer specially priced EAA Member Meals.
For some added variety, Ace's Café will feature three different entrees each lunch, ranging from $7.50 to $9.25, and three more in the evening, ranging from $8.75 to $10.95. A limited variety of grocery items will be offered near the North 40 registration area, in conjunction with the Aspen Avionics tent. Additionally, the Warbirds area will see some changes with the addition of Fightertown Café and Flyboy Concession (formerly Warbird Concession).
Of course, EAA AirVenture staples, such as bratwurst and Polish sausage, will still be available. And to answer the question on everyone's lips: "What about the doughnuts?" Fear not, Ace's Cafeteria, Classic Concession, and the Twin Oaks Coffee House will still offer the famous EAA doughnuts.
