And as always, outstanding achievement in their respective categories will be honored through various aircraft awards presentations. Each award winner will be recognized by like-minded aviation enthusiasts and peers in a social atmosphere.

Here is the lineup of aircraft awards presentations being held at EAA AirVenture 2010:

Rotorcraft Awards Presentation: Friday, July 30, at 6:50 p.m. at Theater In The Woods.

Vintage Aircraft Awards Presentation: Saturday, July 31, at 6 p.m. in Vintage Hangar, located south of the VAA Red Barn. A reception with light snacks and refreshments for the award winners and friends will follow the ceremony.

Homebuilt Aircraft Awards Presentation: Saturday, July 31, at 6 p.m. in Homebuilders Hangar (the former NASA pavilion), located north of Aces Café. A reception with light snacks and refreshments for the award winners and friends will follow the ceremony.

Warbirds Awards Presentation: Saturday, July 31, at 7 p.m. (6 p.m. cash bar, 7 p.m. dinner) in EAA AirVenture Museum's Eagle Hangar. Tickets cost $35 per person and are available at the Warbirds Headquarters Office on the AirVenture grounds during the week of the fly-in.

Ultralight/Light Plane Aircraft Awards Presentation: Saturday, July 31, at 7 p.m. in Nature Center pavilion. Held in conjunction with the Ultralight pig roast party. NOTE: Tickets are required and are available in the Ultralight Barn.

Seaplane Awards Presentation: Saturday, July 31, 2010, 5:30 pm. Presented during the annual Watermelon social dinner. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the Seaplane Base. Get your ticket early, it is always a sellout! For more info, visit www.oshkoshseaplanebase.com.
