Aeromart, AirVenture's annual swap meet and consignment sale for homebuilders and restorers, is the place to buy and sell extra aircraft parts or aviation-related items. Organized and run by volunteers from EAA Chapter 252 in Oshkosh, Aeromart provides an opportunity to turn unused-but-still-useful parts into cash while helping other EAA members find elusive parts to help complete their aircraft projects.
Aeromart will be in the same location as last year - at the south end of the exhibit area next to Camp Scholler. Those who sold parts last year found the new location much more convenient than the previous location, allowing easy transport of sale items to and from campsites.
Here's how it works: When you arrive at AirVenture drop off your items to sell at the Aeromart tent. Aeromart receives $1 per consigned item, plus 12 percent of the sale price when it sells. When leaving AirVenture, stop by Aeromart to pick up either the record of your proceeds or unsold items. It's that easy!
