EAA’s new Founders’ Wing will be officially dedicated on
Monday morning at 11 a.m. at the EAA Museum. |
July 26, 2009 - Oshkosh, Wisconsin -
On Monday morning at 11 a.m., the new Founders’ Wing area in the Air-
Venture Museum will be dedicated. The Founders’ Wing is meant to
preserve EAA’s culture and is home to the Paul and Audrey Poberezny
collection that showcases decades of EAA history. The first level of this
commemorative area is used for events and is where attendees should gather
for EAA President Tom Poberezny’s welcome and comments on the donors who
made the Founders’ Wing possible.
Special remarks by EAA Founder Paul Poberezny
and donor and EAA Board Member Fred Telling will follow. The dedication
will then move to the mezzanine level for the ribbon cutting, and guests
are welcome to view the upper level, which holds a recreation of EAA’s
first office and a private library where Paul and Audrey will be greeting
dedication attendees.
