July 26, 2009 - Oshkosh, Wisconsin -  As part of EAA’s effort to recognize 100 years of flight in Canada, AirVenture visitors are invited to attend an exclusive performance of the Canadian musical play Billy Bishop Goes to War tomorrow night in the EAA AirVenture Museum Eagle Hangar. Seats are still available; reserve yours by e-mailing Jane Smith at jsmith@eaa.org or calling 920-426-6823, and include how many seats you need. There is no charge.

Billy Bishop Goes to War is one of the most famous and widely produced plays in Canadian theater, dramatizing the life of Canadian World War I fighter pilot Billy Bishop. The one-night-only performance will star David Cecsarini of Milwaukee’s Next Act Theatre company, who performed the play to rave reviews at Oshkosh in 2002.

Doors open at 7 p.m., and the performance starts at 8 p.m.
