Members of the International Federal
Partnership (IFP), who represent 17 government agencies from the U.S.,
Canada, and the Bahamas, gathered at EAA headquarters for an on-site
planning meeting last week to plan for AirVenture Oshkosh 2009. They
received updates on the site and its changes, visited the Federal Pavilion
building, and prepared for the July gathering.
"This is the most positive opportunity
we, as federal agencies, engage in with members of the public each
year," said Maj. Dave Tessmer, Wisconsin Air National Guard and
chairman of the IFP. "AirVenture attendees are eager to hear our
messages, attend our forums and see our aircraft."
