The world comes to Oshkosh
|
|
Friday’s International
Visitor’s Parade drew hundreds of
participants that clearly demonstrated AirVenture’s global presence
this year. And the numbers show significant increases in attendance: Total
number of visitors this year was 1,657 vs. 1,333 in 2007. The
number of nations represented: 64 vs. 56 last year. Top
nations in terms of attendance were Canada
(373); Australia (247); Brazil (133); South Africa (130); and Germany
(129).
