EAA’s
2008 Young Eagles raffle is giving away a 2009 Ford Mustang Bullitt
to one lucky winner this week. Only 1,500 tickets are available for
$100 each, available at one of the Young Eagles raffle ticket booths
located on convention grounds or at the EAA AirVenture Museum.
Other
prizes in the raffle include $5,000 cash and an EAA Lifetime
Membership. In addition, six early bird drawings of $1,000 each will
be held throughout the week beginning Monday, July 28, and ending
Sunday, August 3.
Other
early bird drawings are Tuesday, July 29, 8:30 p.m., at the EAA
Fly-In Theater; Wednesday, July 30, 7 p.m., at the Jeff Dunham
performance at Theater in the Woods; Thursday, July 31, 9:30 p.m.,
at the Gathering of Eagles gala at the AirVenture Museum; Friday,
August 1, 7 p.m., at the Gary Sinise Lt. Dan Band concert at Theater
in the Woods; and Saturday, August 2, following the daily air show,
at about 6 p.m. (Early bird winners are still eligible for each
subsequent drawing. Winners need not be present to win.)
Congratulations
to David Leininger, Antelope, California, for being the first early
bird winner on Monday.
Raffle proceeds help
support EAA youth education outreach activities, including the Young
Eagles program. The car is provided courtesy of Ford Custom
Accessories and EAA, with support from Racette Ford of Oshkosh.
