Free SPOT satellite
messenger offer for EAA members
|
EAA members attending EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2008 can get a free SPOT satellite messenger through an exclusive offer from SPOT Inc. available only at Oshkosh. SPOT Inc. will provide a free messenger to current
EAA members free of charge (a $169.99 value) when they subscribe to a one-year satellite service package for $149.98 at AirVenture.
SPOT uses the GPS network to pinpoint
a user’s location, then transmits that information to friends, family, or an emergency response center over a separate satellite network. SPOT works where cell phones don’t and communicates
like GPS devices can’t, making it a real asset to pilots and their loved ones. Users can even track and share their flying adventures online using Google Maps.
This exclusive offer is available to current EAA members whether they join or renew prior to arriving at AirVenture or join here. To get your free SPOT, visit the company’s exhibit tent located just southeast of AeroShell Square.
