EAA Founder kicks off
Warbirds in Review
|
|
What
better way to open this year’s Warbirds in Review program series
than with EAA Founder and Chairman Paul Poberezny. Paul will be
featured with EAA’s P-51 Paul I, an airplane he flew in air
shows for many years. Hear about his military service of 30 years in
the U.S. Air Force, which included active duty during World War II
and the Korean War, retiring with the rank of lieutenant colonel.
This is your opportunity to meet the man whose love of country and
his EAA "family" is unparalleled.
At 1 p.m., see one of
the favorite warbirds, the F4U Corsair, with Dave Folk and Jim Read.
Don’t miss this exciting presentation as they relate the dream of
owning and flying the airplane with nicknames like Bent-Wing Bird
and Whistling Death.
