EAA President Tom Poberezny describes Compass Hill as "a striking symbol of EAA values." Located adjacent to Memorial Wall and Fergus Chapel overlooking Pioneer Airport, Compass Hill symbolizes the love of flight passed between generations. Its prominent feature at the summit is Larry Anderson's sculpture, "Directions," which depicts a family of four on an aviation outing.

Personally inscribed bricks honor those who have been touched by aviation's legacy. Each year a dedication ceremony is held at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh to acknowledge newly installed bricks. To participate in this year's ceremony, brick orders must be made by May 15, 2008. Two placement options are available: the plaza level at the Compass Hill entrance area; and the summit level within the Compass Rose design. Participants also receive a beautifully framed mini-brick replica.
