Your Chance to
Vote: 'Members' Choice' Poll Helps Pick Films at EAA Fly-In Theater
|
EAA members again have a voice in
selecting the movies shown during EAA AirVenture 2008 at the popular
Fly-In Theater, sponsored by Ford Motor Company and Eclipse Aviation.
That area, adjacent to Camp Scholler, will again provide nightly outdoor
movie entertainment on a large screen for campground residents and
others during the fly-in. While the roster of aviation movies is not yet
finalized, one of the featured films will be a "Members'
Choice," selected through an online poll that begins this week on
the EAA AirVenture website.
"We've drawn a list of the 10 most
voted-on movies among the hundreds of nominations received for last
year's wildly successful 'Greatest Aviation Movie of All Time'
poll," said Adam Smith, EAA vice president of membership.
"Visitors to the website can vote on what they would like to see,
and the movie garnering the most votes will be shown during the week at
Oshkosh."
The poll will run through May 2, 2008,
and we'll announce the top vote getter that week along with the rest of
the scheduled movies and celebrity presenters.
