Theater in the Woods
Theater in the Woods, which is the
largest public gathering structure on the grounds, located just south of
Phillips 66 Plaza. The open-air pavilion has seating for 3,500 people under
its spacious roof, while other attendees have traditionally brought lawn
chairs and blankets, enjoying the evening's programs from spots adjacent to
the seating area.
Traffic Loop
EAA's one-way traffic loop, designed with assistance from local and state
police agencies, provides for the fastest-possible vehicle movement into and
out of the site. The one-way loop begins at South Park Avenue near the
Highway 41/44 interchange and runs in a counter-clockwise motion on
Poberezny Road and Waukau Avenue into the AirVenture parking areas. Near the
end of the afternoon air show (approximately 5 p.m.), the motion reverses so
all thoroughfares exit the grounds, except for emergency routes.
Campers driving to Camp Scholler are
encouraged to use the Highway 26 exit south of Oshkosh. Traffic between the
Highway 41/26 interchange to Camp Scholler is two-way, with traffic north of
the Camp Scholler entrance entering the traffic loop at Waukau Avenue.
Translation Services
Translators are available in many languages at the International Visitors
Tent, located just north of Phillips 66 Plaza. |
