Schedule, daily
The EAA AirVenture daily schedule is continually updated to provide the
latest information about activities, programs and other AirVenture features
A general daily timeline is as follows (subject to change without notice):
7:00 am - Gates open
8:00 am - EAA AirVenture Museum opens
8:15 am - Forums begin
8:30 am - Workshops begin
9:00 am - Exhibits open
2:30 pm - Showcase Flying/Air Show start
6:00 pm - Air Show end
7:30 pm - Theatre in the Woods program begins
8:30 pm - Fly-In Theater presentation begins
Seaplane Base
The EAA Seaplane Base is
located east of the AirVenture grounds on Lake Winnebago. A shuttle ride
makes regular runs between the AirVenture grounds and the seaplane base. The
shuttle is available at the Bus Stop just outside the Main Gate. Driving to
the Seaplane Base is discouraged because of the limited parking.
The Seaplane Base has a full schedule of
activities and a number of exhibitors who specialize in water flying
products.

Security
The Winnebago County Sheriff's Department is located just west of the FAA
control tower on Waukau Avenue. EAA Security also has personnel stationed
throughout the grounds.
In case of immediate emergency, dial 911 or contact any EAA Security person.
Shipping Services
Shipping services are available through GES, accepting all properly
addressed inbound letters and packages (including camping gear) from UPS,
DHL, FedEx, and more. Proper address guidelines and GES hours of operation
are available online at www.airventure.org under "Planning and
Services." The GES Service Trailer is located just south of Exhibit
Hangar D.
Showers
Shower buildings are located in Camp Scholler and the North 40 aircraft
area. In addition, portabel shower buildings are located in those areas and
Showplane Camping.
Shuttle Buses
There are a variety of shuttles that operate from the EAA grounds. Those
include:
- Oshkosh - Served by Greyhound
Bus Lines - 1-800-231-2222 / 920-231-6490
- Oshkosh Transit System - During
AirVenture, the Oshkosh Transit System provides shuttle buses from the
downtown Transit Center and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh campus
to the convention grounds.
- Appleton - Shuttles are available from the
Outagamie County Airport and various motels for a nominal fee. View

- Fond du Lac - Shuttle buses are available
from Fond du Lac County Airport for a nominal fee. Call Fond du Lac
Convention and Visitor’s Bureau at 920-923-3010 or 1-800-937-9123.
- Appleton, Kimberly, Menasha, Neenah –
Shuttle bus will run twice daily from various hotels in each of these
cities for a nominal fee. Call Lamers Bus Lines to make reservations at
1-800-236-1240. View

- Green Bay, De Pere, Kaukauna, Little Chute
- Shuttle bus will run once daily Monday – Thursday and twice daily
Friday – Sunday. The pick-ups and drop-offs are from the Austin
Straubel Airport in Green Bay, and various hotels in Green Bay, De Pere,
Kaukauna and Little Chute. This is service is supplied for a nominal

- Milwaukee, Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, Appleton,
New London, Waupaca, Stevens Point, Wausau - Once daily, 365-days a year
this line run makes stops in these cities for a nominal fee. Call Lamers

- Go Airport Connection shuttle service.
Service runs between MKE, ORD or MDW and Wittman Regional Airport (OSH).

Smoking
There is NO SMOKING allowed on the flight line or near any aircraft. Smoking
is not allowed in any EAA Buildings. Event personnel or security will insist
that anyone with a lighted cigarette in those areas immediately extinguish
it. There are several designated smoking areas near concession stands on the
grounds for visitor use.
In addition, ground conditions may cause the Oshkosh Fire Department to
issue smoking prohibitions for camping areas if necessary.
Souvenirs
Official EAA merchandise and souvenirs are available throughout the grounds.
The Wearhouse, on the west edge of AeroShell Square, and the Sky Shoppe,
just north of AeroShell Square, are the two primary merchandise buildings.
Other merchandise tents are located throughout the grounds.
In addition, some aircraft areas such as Vintage and Warbirds also feature
their own merchandise for sale during the event.
Speakers, Forums and Presentations
There are nearly 1,000 presentations on the grounds throughout AirVenture
week.
