Maps
Site maps are available at all AirVenture admission areas, including
campground entrances. You should receive one with your admission wristbands.
They are also available at various sites throughout the grounds, including
the EAA Welcome Center. Large site maps are also posted on signboards and
wayfinding points throughout the grounds, as well as online.
Medical Assistance
For major emergencies, dial 911 or contact any EAA security staff member.
For other medical needs, the Medical Services building is located northeast
of the FAA Control Tower, just east of Press Headquarters.
Memorial Wall
Located
between Fergus Chapel and Pioneer Airport. The Memorial Wall induction
ceremonies, honoring aviation enthusiasts who have passed away.
Museum
The EAA AirVenture Museum is
located on Poberezny Road about one-half mile from the flight line. More
than 100 aircraft are on display, with special speakers and programs
throughout AirVenture week. Museum has special hours throughout AirVenture
week. Please check museum's daily schedule.
Weekly AirVenture wristband bearers receive
unlimited admission to the museum through AirVenture. Daily wristband
wearers receive museum admission on the day of the wristband only.
Shuttles from the AirVenture grounds to the museum are available from the
Bus Park just outside the AirVenture Main Gate (look for the control-tower
pavilion labeled BUS PARK). These shuttles are free of charge and operate
throughout the day and evening. |
