AEROBICS
Get your day off to a good start
and your energy soaring by joining us for a low impact aerobic class. The
class is taught by certified instructor Michael Toft. Classes are held
Monday - Saturday at 8 a.m. at the Theater in the Woods.
No advance registration is required. Loose clothing and comfortable shoes
are suggested.

BABY
CHANGING/NURSING
Diaper changing stations are
located at several areas along the flight line and at the Kiddie Kockpit
next to Theater in the Woods. Baby Nursing facility located next to
Medical Services.
BANKING SERVICES/CURRENCY
EXCHANGE
EAA Members may cash checks (up to $200) or
exchange currency at the windows located at the southeast corner inside the
EAA Wearhouse.
BUSINESS
CENTER
OfficeMax will offer office supplies, shipping services
(provided by DHL), faxing and copying to all exhibitors and attendees
from 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. (July 25 - August 3). EAA members will also receive a 5
percent discount on all OfficeMax products at the event, and throughout
the entire year at all OfficeMax locations.
The US Postal service will be located
next door to Office Max and will provide mailing services to all EAA
AirVenture Oshkosh attendees.

During AirVenture, the Oshkosh Transit System provides shuttle buses from
the downtown Transit Center and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh campus

Appleton - Shuttles are available
from the Outagamie County Airport and various motels for a nominal fee. View

CAMPGROUND
SERVICES / EQUIPMENT
Wheel & Sprocket's "Mobile Bike
Shop" will provide more than 100 different individual services to
those using bicycles in and around EAA's Camp Scholler. These services
will be available 10 a.m.-8 p.m. (July 23-29) and include tire changes,
wheel replacements, bike rentals, next-day service on most repairs, and a
wide selection of quality bikes to purchase for the event. (Please note
that bikes are not allowed on the grounds during AirVenture; only in the
campground.)
Honda Generators will be located
onsite to facilitate the repair or purchase of a generator during your
stay in the campground. Honda offers a complete line of compact,
fuel-efficient generator models that provide a convenient source of power
for your recreational needs. All Honda generators meet or exceed all EPA
(Environmental Protection Agency) and CARB (California Air Resource Board)
standards.

EAA
COMMUNICATIONS CENTER

The EAA Communications Center is staffed
24-hours to serve AirVenture attendees and those who need information on
EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. The Communications Center, or Comm Center, is
available for general questions regarding AirVenture and as an emergency
message relay service. Emergency messages are broadcast through the
center's PA system throughout the day or as needed. Emergency messages can
also be relayed to those staying in EAA's Camp Scholler.
In addition to the emergency messaging
service, the Comm Center is also a key point of contact for information on
the event. Comm Center volunteers have telephone and radio contact with
all areas of AirVenture and can normally answer just about any question
about AirVenture. With many 20 and 30-year volunteers, Comm Center is a
great source for AirVenture information.
EAA
RADIO
EAA Radio AM1210 broadcasts continuous
information from the EAA AirVenture site. Daily programming includes news
from AirVenture, traffic and weather updates, interviews with aviation
personalities, updates on EAA programs, AirVenture Forum highlights, live
coverage of the daily air show and Theater in the Woods and much more.
EAA Radio will broadcast 24 hours a day on
AM 1210. A link will be made available here as well as on the AirVenture
home page when EAA Radio begins broadcasting and throughout the event. You
can listen to archived interviews and broadcasts from 2007
here.

REGISTRATION
Groups of 25 or more arriving via chartered
buses, charter passenger aircraft, etc., should contact EAA in advance for
special arrangements. Please use this online

HAM
(AMATEUR) RADIO
The Fox Cities Amateur Radio Club (W9ZL)
will host a Special Event station from the Vette Hanger at Pioneer Airport
during AirVenture. The club will be on the air from Thursday through
Sunday, 8 am – 4 PM local time. The volunteer operators will be
monitoring on 146.520 (simplex) and on the wide area coverage repeater
146.760 – (pl 100.0 Hz). For visiting hams, feel free to use the W9ZL
repeater while in town. We will also operate HF on 7.250 +/- and on 14.270
+/-. All visitors are encouraged to stop by and see first hand what

SERVICES
- Handicapped auto parking,
aircraft parking/camping, restrooms, showers and tram services are
available.
- For more detailed

- One-seat personal electric
convenience vehicles, specifically designed for the handicapped, are
allowed on the convention site. Automobiles, golf carts,
motorcycles, mopeds, bicycles, personal transportation machines such
as Segways, and all-terrain vehicles are not recognized as
authorized vehicles for the handicapped and are not allowed on the
convention site.

Lost and Found
General Information is also AirVenture’s official site for lost or
missing articles. If you have lost an article or need assistance in
getting an item back to its original owner, please stop in to see us.
Also, any children separated from their parents or guardians will be
brought to the General Information Center.
Message Center
General Information has a very active message center. Make this the
official meeting place if you get lost or separated from your group. If
you get separated from your party you can leave a message and check in
regularly to find your lost acquaintance.

available in the Member Village area in the campground.

will accept letters and packages (including camping gear) that are
addressed properly.

Hangar C on Waukau Ave. next to Aeromart. EAA security and Camp Scholler

during the convention.
