Youth Activities
  • Children's Activity Hangar
Children ages 3-7 have their own place to "hang" out at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. The Children's Activity Hangar is a shady spot for pre-schoolers through younger primary ages to participate in age-appropriate aviation activities.

  • KidVenture
Located at Pioneer Airport, KidVenture's campus has become a prominent fixture of AirVenture's landscape. Where else can kids get the chance to build their own model rockets and balsa planes, fly in a high-tech flight simulator, try their hand at flying a control-line model, and meet aviation legends?

KidVenture Gallery at the AirVenture Museum - The KidVenture Gallery includes hands-on fun in every exhibit, including simulators, more than half-dozen separate aircraft cockpits and many more exhibits. The 3,000-square foot gallery is designed as a fun-filled way to increase young people’s knowledge and enthusiasm in the thrilling world of flight.

  • Pioneer Airport
An extension of the EAA AirVenture Museum, Pioneer Airport portrays a time when the magic of flying charmed the world. Styled as a typical airport of the 1930s, it displays over 50 vintage airplanes in seven period hangars - each of which is open daily for visitors to explore.

  • Kiddie Kockpit
Near Theater in the Wood; infants and toddlers; tented, shaded area for relaxing

  • Nursing Stations/Baby Changing Stations

  • Air Shows
Some of the world's finest aerobatic performers are coming to Oshkosh for the World's Greatest Aviation Celebration at Wittman Regional Airport. Every year, many pilots make Oshkosh a priority for their performance schedule because they have the opportunity to strut their stuff in front of their peers in the aerobatic community, as well as perhaps the most aviation-savvy audience on the planet.
