EAA today confirmed
that two B-1 “Lancer” bombers will perform fly-bys at EAA AirVenture
Oshkosh on Sunday, July 29, as part of the U.S. Air Force’s 60th
anniversary presence at The World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration.
The series of
fly-bys will begin the air show at 2 p.m., the traditional air show start
time on AirVenture closing day.
These demonstrations
add to the already impressive military aerial display on July 29, as the
F-117 stealth fighter is scheduled for fly-bys that morning, with the F-22
“Raptor” performing during the air show that afternoon.
