With
hundreds of the world's leading aviation authorities giving close to 1,000
individual presentations at nearly 35 locations spread throughout the EAA
convention grounds, planning your week at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2007 can
be, in a word, challenging. But the EAA AirVenture website can make it
simple when you use the new integrated presentations and workshops
schedule database.
Located at www.AirVenture.org/forums,
the database includes all the venues, subjects and topics, and presenters
from not only forums and workshops, but also Warbirds in Review,
KidVenture, Museum Speakers Showcase, Authors Corner, Theater in the
Woods, special "at the aircraft" presentations on AeroShell
Square, and more. If it's scheduled, you'll find it here, and you'll be
able to create discrete searches to conveniently preplan your AirVenture
stay. In addition, the web schedule is updated on a daily basis to keep
you informed of any changes or additions to the schedules that might occur
at the last minute.
"We've had a tendency to be a little
disconnected in the past with regard to the overall scope of how we listed
the hundreds of AirVenture presentations and workshops," said EAA
staff member Mark Forss, who coordinates the presentations and workshops
schedules. "The new, online schedule makes it easier to find exactly
what you're looking for, and not just in the Forums Plaza, but all over
the entire convention grounds."
