Brennand Airport, Neenah, WI (79C) - For those planning to fly their airplane to AirVenture 2007, but do not want to fly in to Wittman Regional Airport, a convenient alternate destination is Brennand Airport near Neenah. Brennand is located 10 nautical miles DME north of OSH on the 357° radial from the Oshkosh VOR 111.8 mhz. It has a 2,500-foot asphalt runway, room for 100 aircraft, and 100LL fuel. Pilot controlled lighting. Camping is allowed, and some rooms and houses are available. Ground transportation to and from AirVenture is also available (shuttle service). Portage Municipal Airport, Portage, WI (C47) - Portage is located 30 nautical air miles from the OSH flight pattern. For the pilot that prefers to leave the plane on the ground just outside of the OSH airspace, Portage, Wisconsin is the perfect place. An air-conditioned coach leaves at 8 AM for OSH and returns from OSH after the air show, getting back to Portage about 7 or 7:30 PM. The bus runs Thursday, Friday and Saturday July 23, 24 and 28.

Iowa Falls Municipal Airport, Iowa Falls, IA (IFA) - The Iowa Falls airport is located 225 nm South West of Wittman Regional Airport and is a great stop to refuel and refresh.
