Situated in the heart of EAA AirVenture just west of AeroShell Square, EAA Member Village is a prime resource for EAAers visiting the convention. You can join or renew your membership; get answers to virtually any EAA or AirVenture question; attend special members-only events; visit exhibits for all the EAA member programs, benefits and services; find out how to get started in flight training; see unique aircraft displays; try out flight simulators; check your e-mail at the Internet Cafe; and reserve the flight of your life on the EAA B-17.

And there's more: In the North Tent, you can:

• Put your mark on the Member Map!
• Get info on EAA's new Student Membership for those up to 17 years of age.
• Learn about EAA's Air Academy Camp from staff members, who will answer questions, and provide information and lodge tours.
• Members Only Drawings: Members receive a Members Only Perks Booklet at admissions (or at Member Village if they've missed it at the gates) to deposit in the drawing boxes located throughout the Member Village tents.
• Diamond DA40 - the grand prize, a 2-year lease on this aircraft for EAA's membership promotion, will be on display in Member Village - North.
• Answer aviation-related trivia questions correctly and win a prize at the Wheel of Fun.
• Test fly the X-plane, the newest flight simulator software customized for EAA Young Eagles and student members.
• Show your solidarity as EAA Members Unite Against User Fees: Wear your button (available at admission gates and all Member Village locations) and get your photo taken at the 'EAA Against User Fees' display. Photos will be displayed throughout the week.
• Visit the Weather Worx kiosk.

In the South Tent:

• Visit the new Learn to Fly Center for information on getting starting in flight training. Get a free Student Sport Pilot certificate Monday - Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

• EAA members' resource center; join or renew your EAA membership; get answers to questions; check out the Learn to Fly Center; get your FREE student Sport Pilot certificates; attend mini-forums on learning to fly; and much more!
• Members only after hours events - Members can attend after hours events that include appearances by special guests!

There's also a mini-Member Village located in the Camp Scholler area (near the flagpoles). Take advantage of the Membership Services, check your e-mail, and check the weather before heading out at the Weather Worx kiosk.
