EAA by the numbers
- As of February 28, 2007, there are
167,713 EAA members throughout the United States and in 100
countries.
- The on-time membership renewal rate is
77.6 percent.
- EAA has 209 employees, including 168
full-time and 41 part-time. During AirVenture 2006, another 475
people were hired temporarily to work at the fly-in convention.
In other action:
- The following were elected to the EAA
Board as Class 1 directors for three-year terms: Victor G. Abbey,
Louis J. Andrew Jr., Susan Dusenbury, Eric Gurley, Phil Martineau,
Vern Raburn, Rand Siegfried, Fred W. Telling, and Joe B. Wyatt.
- By unanimous vote, only EAA members 18
or older are allowed to vote for members of the board under an
amendment approved to the corporation’s Articles of Incorporation.
