Visit EAA AirVenture Museum
Speaker Showcase presentations
More than 100
presentations will be featured as part of the Museum Speaker Showcase at
the EAA AirVenture Museum this week. Here’s your opportunity to hear
from a wide variety of aviation legends and historians speaking in great
museum locations including the Eagle Hangar, the Vette Theater, in front
of the Wright Flyer, near the Spirit of St. Louis, in the new SkyScape
Theater, or at the Voyager/SpaceShipOne displays.
"The Museum Speaker
Showcase makes the museum an exciting place to be," said Adam
Smith, EAA vice president of membership. "It provides the museum
visitors with the opportunity to hear personal accounts and other
information from some of aviation’s most well-known people."
Plus, many special
activities take place in the museum throughout the week. Museum hours
are 8 a.m.-6 p.m. daily, except for Wednesday, July 25 (museum closes at
3 p.m. for the Gathering of Eagles fundraiser), and Sunday, July 29,
when the museum closes at 4 p.m.
