GlobalAir.com hosts free-ride giveaway

GlobalAir.com, an online aviation search engine, will host a celebration open to all attendees of EAA AirVenture at Orion Flight Services, 525 West 20th Street in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, on Wednesday evening, July 25 from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Highlighting the event will be drawings for a formation flight on vintage DC-3 and Yak aircraft and an aerobatic Extra 300 flown by air show performer John Klatt (www.johnklattairshows.com), free finger foods and beer, and live music provided by the 100 Obscured Bluegrass band.

GlobalAir.com will also exhibit at Booth # 4028 of Hangar D at AirVenture Oshkosh. The site, which primarily serves the general and business aviation and regional airline markets, features 18 major categories of information on the industry’s most frequently searched subjects. Its Airport Resource Center provides up-to-date fuel prices at more than 980 sites nationwide, and the Aircraft Exchange is a catalyst for the buying and selling of general aviation aircraft.

Five lucky attendees at the GlobalAir.com party will be randomly chosen to ride in a DC-3 and Yak aircraft, which will fly in formation the following morning, July 26. One lucky winner will also receive a 45-minute flight with John Klatt in his Extra 300. Winners must be at least 21 years of age and present at the time of the drawing to win.
