Type clubs meet at AirVenture

Acro Sport dinner on Thursday evening, July 27, at Robbins Restaurant, 1810 Omro Rd., Oshkosh, 6:30 p.m. cocktails, 7 p.m. awards dinner. Sign up at Acro Sport in Aeroplane Factory workshop tent at AirVenture.

Amateur Radio Operators will meet on Friday, July 28, 6-8 a.m. at IHOP. Wisconsin Section Manager, Don Michalski, from ARRL will be there. Questions, call Dan at 920-205-4899.

American Bonanza Society will hold third annual barbecue for members at the Hilton Garden Inn in Oshkosh. Bar opens at 6:00, dinner at 6:30 p.m. Limited to first 150 paid registrations. Adults $25  (Ribs & Chicken) Children 12 and under $13 (Chicken Tenders)

BD-4 builders technical meeting on Wednesday, July 26, at UW-Oshkosh, Taylor Hall, North Tower, Conference Room 048, 7 p.m.

Bede BD-4 will meet on Thursday, July 27, 6:30 p.m. at Delta Family Restaurant, 515 Sawyer St, Oshkosh. Cash bar – cocktails at 6 p.m. Dinner cost $20 – family style chicken, ribs, ham. Reservations to Joe & Marylou Lienau, cell #630-212-8391.

Cessna Pilots Association will have a Barbeque (Wisconsin Brats, Ribs, Chicken) on the Upper Terrace of the Hilton Hotel located on the airport at Oshkosh, 6 - 10 p.m. on Friday, July 28. Cost $30/person. Tickets committed to by July 10. The only tickets that will be available at AirVenture will be from cancellations. If you pay and have to cancel prior to July 11, your money will be refunded. If you pay for tickets and have to cancel after July 11, your money will be refunded if CPA is able to resell the tickets, which is extremely likely. Only 400 tickets available. Cirrus Owners and Pilots Association will meet on Wednesday, July 26 at 7:30 p.m. at the Hilton, 1355 W 20th for dinner. Cost is $40. Reservations
on-line at: http://www.cirruspilots.org.

Delta Builders will meet on Thursday, July 27, at 11 a.m. in the meeting area adjacent to Homebuilders Headquarters. Meeting only – no meal.

e-Bay EAArs meeting on Wednesday, July 26, at 6 p.m. at Applebee’s, 1700 S Koeller, Oshkosh. Dinner cost $12-16. Reservations are drop-in.

Ercoupe Owners Club will meet on Tuesday, July 25 – 6 p.m. cocktails; 7 p.m. dinner at McDorman’s Restaurant in Oshkosh. Cost is $15. Sign up at Ercoupe table in Type Club Tent.

Homebuilders Dinner will be on Thursday, July 27, in the Nature Center Pavilion, 6 p.m. This is a casual event where fellow Homebuilders can do a little hangar flying and enjoy some great food and camaraderie. Dinner will once again be catered by La Sure’s Restaurant. Tram service to the Nature Center from Homebuilders Headquarters will be provided beginning at 5 p.m. Tickets must be purchased in advance at Homebuilders Headquarters. Cost is $12

RV Builders Family Reunion, Wednesday, July 26, 6 p.m. Cost is $8. Stop by. Camp Scholler campsite – watch for signs – likely will be on 12th between Lindbergh and Elm.

International Stinson Club will meet on Wednesday, July 26, at 6:45 p.m., Charter bus at Red Barn at 6 p.m. for dinner at Wendt’s on the Lake, N9699 Lakeshore Dr. (US 45), Van Dyne.

Swift Museum Foundation meeting on Thursday, July 27, at 7 p.m. at Fin ‘n Feather in Winneconne. 6:30 p.m. cocktail hour, buffet supper. Reservations and transportation at Swift Forum on Thursday, 10 a.m., Pavilion #3.

Tiger Moth and Chipmunk Club of North America will meet on Friday, July 28 at 6:30 p.m. at Water City Grill, 107 Algoma Boulevard (downtown Oshkosh). Cost $25. Reservations to Steve Betzler at 414-520-2537 or sbetzler@empirelevel.com.

Van’s Aircraft dinner will be on Thursday, July 27, at the EAA Nature Center Tent #2. Cost is $20. Menu is Western Buffet. Purchase your ticket(s) in advance. Limited to 200 people. Order advance tickets by Phone 503-678-6545, Fax 503-678-6560, or thru the Web Store. Pick-up at Van’s booth. Any leftover tickets will be sold at AirVenture booth.

Vintage Aircraft Picnic will be on Wednesday, July 26, in the Nature Center Pavilion, 6 p.m. Tickets must be purchased in advance at the VAA Headquarters in the Red Barn. Trams from the VAA Red Barn to the event will begin around 5 p.m. To reserve tables for your Type Club so that you may all sit together, contact Jennifer at 920-426-6110.
