The popular United States
Air Force Total Force Pavilion will make its third consecutive
appearance at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in 2006. Airmen from the Air
National Guard, Air Force Reserve and Air Force active duty will staff
the exhibit throughout the seven-day event, July 24-30. Visitors can see
various aircraft and real-world equipment on display, plus meet and
greet the three Air Force air show pilots slated to appear.
Also contained within the
USAF exhibit will be Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) headquarters,
showcasing and telling the story of the pioneering women military
aviators; and the National Veterans Wheelchair Game representatives with
information about the 2007 Games in Milwaukee.
Visitors can also learn
about vital public services provided by the various parts of USAF, plus
personnel will be on hand to discuss educational and career
opportunities for those wishing to pursue pilot training, maintenance,
and other paths can be explored in detail.
Look for the Total Force Pavilion next to
the flight line between the control tower and the EAA Warbirds area.
