From the road to the sky; Experience it at the Ford Hangar

See where innovation takes flight and visit the Ford Hangar at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2006. The latest in Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, Volvo, Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles will be on display including the Volvo C70 and Jaguar XK. Learn about Ford’s Safety, Design and Technology innovations. Hear all about the F-250 Super Chief concept vehicle and how the world’s first tri-flex vehicle operates on gasoline, hydrogen and E85 ethanol. You will also see the 2007 Shelby GT500 Mustang and one of the new Shelby GT-H Mustangs that are now available at select Hertz locations across the country.

Guests can pilot their own Tri-Motor or race a Ford vehicle on the streets while driving on one of the several simulators on display. Outside, and up high, guests can race each other to the top as they climb the rock wall.

Ever want to know what it feels like to race a Ford Mustang a quarter mile down the drag strip? Now you can! Experience a dynamometer display at the Ford Roush Drag Strip Experience. Guests will have the opportunity to step inside a Roush Stage 3 Mustang and launch off the line as you run the car "down the track." Stop by the Drag Strip to learn how you could be eligible to test your skills.

And the fun does not stop when the hangar closes. Live and center stage will be the Beach Boys at 6 p.m. Monday evening on AeroShell Square. From July 24-29, when the sun goes down, be sure to head out towards the Fly-In Theater (located behind the Camp Store) as you relax under the stars and watch one of the several classic aviation movies playing each evening at approximately 8:30 p.m.
